Physics Tutoring
We teach physics as one coherent story — measurement, mechanics, waves, fields, thermal physics, and modern topics — then shape that spine to the specification your school examines: IB Diploma, A-Level, Spanish Bachillerato sciences, US high-school and AP tracks, Cambridge IGCSE. Sessions are in English, with in-person tuition in Barcelona and online worldwide.
This page is the multi-curricula overview. For IB Diploma Physics — papers, data booklet use, HL options, and the Internal Assessment cycle — the dedicated programme page carries the structural detail families usually want next: IB Physics tutor (Barcelona & online).
Diploma Programme
IB Diploma Physics
The IB Diploma slice on this hub stays short on purpose: families often arrive while they are still comparing systems. Once DP is confirmed, tutoring becomes specific — Standard Level or Higher Level, your school's option topic timing, and the practical skills your coordinator emphasises. The long-form paper map, data-booklet discipline, and IA lab cycle sit on our dedicated IB Physics programme page, where we keep the depth you would expect from a diploma-first route.
In lessons we keep the narrative integrated — measurements through modern physics — so definitions, diagrams, and algebra reinforce each other rather than living in disconnected chapters. HL extensions and option work follow your timetable; SL work keeps papers readable under time without sacrificing units or sign discipline.

UK & aligned schools
A-Level Physics
A-Level rewards patient setup: definitions that survive follow-on parts, sketches that earn method marks, and multi-mark algebra that stays organised under time. We teach board-by-board for AQA, Edexcel, OCR, CAIE, and other UK-aligned routes — core practical skills, maths-for-physics fluency, and the long questions that separate A* scripts from hurried ones.
A dedicated A-Level physics page may accompany this hub as we publish more board-specific guides; tutoring is already built from your specification and recent papers.
Spain & bilingual schools
Spanish Bachillerato & sciences tracks
Bachillerato sciences routes often front-load mechanics and electricity, then consolidate waves and modern topics while university entrance pressure rises. We support students in English while respecting the notation and emphasis of their Spanish programme — and we keep EvAU / EBAU-style demands in view when your family is planning around public exams, not only classroom tests.
A dedicated Spanish-school physics page may follow as we publish more modalidad-specific guides; this section is the working summary for families on Spanish science tracks.
US high school & AP
US-pattern physics & AP alignment
For conceptual physics, honours physics, or integrated science-heavy tracks, we strengthen how problems are framed — diagrams, free-body reasoning, and lab-style data interpretation — the habits strong US classrooms and AP programmes share even when course names differ. When your transcript says AP Physics 1, 2, or C, we align to College Board expectations and FRQ/MCQ format on the dedicated exam programme page.

A dedicated US high-school physics page may join this hub as we expand transcript-shaped guidance; intake is set in consultation from your school outline and placement.
Cambridge IGCSE
IGCSE Physics (& coordinated sciences)
IGCSE Physics — and the physics strand inside coordinated sciences — rewards clean definitions, careful qualitative explanation, and calculation that stays organised when a question has several parts. We cycle theory, past-paper-style stems, and practical reasoning so Extended candidates can reach their target bands without a frantic final month.
A dedicated IGCSE physics page may accompany this hub as we publish more syllabus-variant notes; tutoring is already matched to your tier and practical-paper expectations.
School stages
How we work by stage (Grades 9–12)
Grades 9–10 / early upper secondary: We secure the vocabulary and habits — vectors, energy accounting, circuit reasoning — that IB, A-Level, or Bachillerato will later assume are already fluent. This stage matters when a student has changed systems or is recovering from a weak year before stakes rise.
Grades 11–12 / DP and A-Level years: Full exam-paper programmes, option topics where your board requires them, and IA lab cycles staged with a visible calendar so parents see pace, pressure points, and what “done” means for each milestone.
If a student is younger but on an accelerated science track, we match prerequisites first so acceleration does not leave silent gaps that surface only in terminal papers.
What moves first
Reading the stem correctly, choosing the governing principle before the calculator, and keeping units honest — the habits that lift marks on every syllabus above without turning physics into formula tourism.
How sessions run
In-person in Barcelona or online worldwide — same note structure, same lab-style reasoning standards, and parent-visible milestones so weekly progress is legible, not mysterious.
