Calculus-based AP Physics C: E&M TutorOnline worldwide · Barcelona
The harder half of Physics C for most students, because the integrals stop being optional. We work through all six units, from Gauss's law to induction, with the vector calculus built in rather than bolted on.
Learn from experienced expert tutors who actually raise scores.
The biggest difference between a good score and a great one is who teaches you. Our tutors bring decades of experience and the kind of one-to-one attention a tutoring platform simply cannot match.
Seasoned subject experts
You are taught by experienced specialists with deep subject and exam knowledge, never a rotating roster of part-time college students.
Exam-focused teaching
Every topic is taught the way it is examined: mark schemes, command words, calculator strategy, and past-paper technique from day one.
Genuine personal attention
1-on-1 and small groups only. Every lesson is built around you and your target score, not a packed classroom pace.

How We Build a 5
Symmetry before algebra
Gauss and Ampere only help when the symmetry is spotted. We train the recognition step explicitly, because that is what separates a short solution from a dead end.
Vector calculus made usable
Flux, line integrals and gradients are where E&M students stall. We build them around the physics instead of treating them as separate mathematics.
Sign discipline
Lenz's law, potential differences and induced currents all hinge on signs. We make the convention explicit and practise it until it is automatic.
Full three-hour papers
We run complete timed papers and debrief where the time went, so pacing is settled before exam day.
What You'll Learn
Electric Charges, Fields, and Gauss's Law
Coulomb's law, fields from continuous charge distributions by integration, flux, and choosing a Gaussian surface that actually simplifies the problem.
Electric Potential
Potential and potential energy, the relationship between field and potential as a gradient and an integral, and equipotential surfaces.
Conductors and Capacitors
Conductors in equilibrium, capacitance, dielectrics, and energy stored in a field.
Electric Circuits
Resistivity, Kirchhoff's rules, combinations of resistors and capacitors, and RC circuits including the exponential charge and discharge.
Magnetic Fields and Electromagnetism
Forces on charges and currents, the Biot-Savart law, and Ampere's law for symmetric current distributions.
Electromagnetic Induction
Magnetic flux, Faraday's law, Lenz's law and the sign that follows from it, motional emf, and inductance.
The AP Physics C: E&M Exam
A separate three-hour exam from Mechanics, on a separate day, with the same structure. Calculators are permitted throughout, and it is hybrid digital: multiple-choice in Bluebook, free-response handwritten.
Section I: Multiple Choice
42 questions · 1 hour 25 minutes · 50% of the score
- Symmetry recognition does most of the work: knowing when Gauss or Ampere collapses an integral.
- Field and potential questions often resolve faster graphically than algebraically.
- Sign conventions are the most common avoidable error under time pressure.
Section II: Free Response
4 questions · 1 hour 35 minutes · 50% of the score
- Four fixed types: mathematical routines, translation between representations, experimental design and analysis, and qualitative or quantitative translation.
- Setting up the integral correctly earns more than evaluating it, so the limits and the element matter most.
- Induction questions reward a stated direction and a reason, not just a magnitude.
Exam format verified against the College Board course page. Mechanics and E&M are separate exams with separate scores, and a student may sit either or both.
Real teaching. Real results.
“Bernat now feels confident with Math and Physics. He feels prepared for university. Suneel's help has been the key to Bernat's confidence and understanding.”
“Suneel transformed my son's relationship with Maths completely. From dreading every lesson to genuinely enjoying problem-solving, in just a few months. Incredible patience and expertise.”
